The Hispanic Studies Program at Bowdoin offers students countless opportunities to achieve mastery of the Spanish language and develop a deep understanding of the vast and diverse cultures, literatures, and history of the Spanish-speaking world.
Why Hispanic Studies?
Off-Campus Study
The skills developed through the Hispanic Studies major and minor at Bowdoin serve our students and alumni in all walks of life. The ability to view and articulate experience from more than one cultural perspective and language gives our graduates an edge in many professions such as business, medicine, international relations, politics, and social work.
